day 49: Figueria to Nazare

After two nights in Figueroa we decided to press on south despite the light winds forecast.
Started the day in quite strong winds with gusts up to 20 knots that overpowered the boat. Zipped along at 7.5 knots for about an hour and then the wind just died. Alas motoring from then on.
This was to be a day for dolphins. Lots of them. It seemed as though we just skipped from.pod to.pod with dolphin playing in our bow wave 6 or 7 times. Kids camped out on the bow to watch them.
great day. Best yet.
